I've photographed wild lions in Kenya, street dogs in Peru, and stray cats in Jerusalem but I would still like to photograph penguins in Antarctica. Behind the lens from a young age, I used our family pets: dogs, cats, hamsters, a salamander and yes, even a hawk as my subjects.

I studied commercial photography at Syracuse University and went on to work with some of the best fashion photographers in the industry. For 10 years I traveled the world working as Peter Lindbergh's digital tech. My time in fashion photography still influences my work today.

Since 2006 I have specialized in photographing domestic animals both in studio and on location. I have experience in productions of all sizes -- from advertising to packing to pro bono projects with animal rescues. Using a graphic and modern approach my images are playful, humorous, and personify the animal subjects. For me, pets are more than companions who get the slippers... Although, I wish my dog got my slippers. Animals, wild and domesticated, give me happiness, loads of inspiration, and allow me to unleash my creative side (pun intended!). Whether in the studio or on location I enjoy the challenges of working with animals and their handlers. The experience is always fun and rewarding. And to answer your question, yes, I have tons of patience.

I reside in New York with my husband, two daughters, and our rescue dog Maple.
